V.A. Pop Cycles (Legendary CD-R Collection) Part 3. Final, Vols. 9-12 (PopSike)

Pues acabamos ya esta serie con los últimos cuatro volúmenes, aunque el volumen 12 está en formato doble, y me he dado cuenta así a primer repaso de que las canciones que los componen, es que según va avanzando la serie, cada vez son mas desconocidos los artistas, y aunque en los primeros si que encontrábamos cosas medianamente desconocidas, en estos únicos, al publico medio entre los que me incluyo, realmente nos sonarán muy pocos.

Puede ser esto por que hay muchos que ya corresponden a la época de los primeros setenta, y al ser esos años de cambios de nuevos sonidos como el hard rock o el rock progresivo, el popsike quedado tapado y solo seguido por los que ya los conocieron al principio del movimiento.

Ni que decir tiene que aquí en España, no nos enterábamos de nada, y estos discos nunca se publicaban y mucho menos se escuchaban por la radio, y así paso que estos estilos los hemos conocidos ya a toro pasado que se dice, y pasamos de los Beatles y los Rolling Stones a Led Zeppelin o Deep Purple de golpe, desconociendo las otras músicas que se hacían.

Y si de las bandas británicas solo se publicaban los discos de las bandas mas famosas, de las europeas o de las del resto del mundo, de las cuales hay una nutrida representación en esta serie, ya ni hablamos.

Bueno, pues aquí está esta esmerada selección, que a los amantes del género os sorprenderá y a los detractores, les parecerá insufrible, pero bueno, lo mejor de la música es su variedad, por lo que podemos tener nuestras músicas favoritas. Si a todos nos gustase lo mismo, sería muy aburrido.
