V.A. Miscellaneous Garage Part. 1, Vols. 1-5 (Mysterious Private Comp.)

Seguimos en tiempo de verano, y parece que lo que apetece es escuchar música de calidad sin comerse mucho el coco en rebuscar rarezas y centrarse en esas canciones bien conocidas que nos ayuden a pasar esta época infernal, y así y siguiendo mi última obsesión de bucear en las profundidades de mi disco duro he encontrado esta colección "Miscellaneous Garage".

La colección que hoy os presento hace mucho tiempo que la tengo y no recuerdo como la conseguí y a pesar de pasarme un buen rato buscando información no he conseguido nada en claro, aparte de confirmar que es una colección doméstica y que al parecer se gestó alrededor de 2005, aunque desconozo su autor, aunque desde aquí quiero darle mi reconocimiento. Si alguien tiene mas información, me gustaría la compartiese con todos nosotros.

The Benders

Se trata de quince extensos volúmenes que iremos presentando en tacadas de cinco volúmenes cada dos semanas, así que nos ocupará estos meses de julio y agosto.

Aunque se titule "Miscelaneous Garage", no todo es garage, sino que hay muchos otros estilos y bandas no norteamericanas. La selección se nota enseguida que ha sido realizada muy meticulosamente y es de agradecer que se incluya la referencua discográfica, la localización de la banda y el año de grabación. Además están en orden alfabético.

The Beefeaters

Pues aquí encontraremos una gran selección de canciones de la segunda mitad de los años sesenta, que seguro nos hacen pasar unos buenos momentos. Ya he dicho que la colección es bastante extensa y a mi me costó varios días repasarla entera, pero valió la pena.
