Thanks again Jose. Where on earth did you find this Joe Meek production discography and on top of that: all the tracks?
Hi Rob.
The list of the works of those years was sent to me by Bob Hill, and then I have searched for the songs in my archives and in all the imaginable places: Soulseek, Blogs, Youtube, Deezer. Several friends have also collaborated by sending me songs, and in the end Bob has sent me many impossible to find, from his original albums, and that can only be heard here.
You already know that many people participate in this blog, and I thank all of you for your help.
cheers
José
Hello Jose,
I am very thankful and I enjoy it, that the Discography of Joe Meek "goes further" on your side.I am full of expection for the 60s discography of Joe Meek, but one can not understand the music of Joe Meek if one didn't know the development from 50s to 60s I think. Here are some singer who became stars in the 60s like Marty Wilde and Craig Douglas. So a big big thank you to Bob and you for your excellent work!!!
Joe Meek productions "lives on" on your great side.THANKS for it!!!
Greetings Thomas
My Friend Thomas:
Meek's work in the 50's and 60's is totally different, from the next part, the music changes radically.
All these old jobs served as training for what would come later.
cheers
Jose
Have you seen this? https://www.mixonline.com/recording/tea-chest-tapes-joe-meek-cherry-red. Should contain unheard early work by a.o. Ray Davies
Thanks Rob for the video. There are many interesting things in this "Tea Chest Tapes", and some will be included in this collection.
It will be interesting to listen to these tapes when they are finished digitizing.

Thanks for all the hard work you are putting into this collection. So much that I have not heard, a real treasure trove.
My friend Lemonflag.
For me, this collection has been an adventure, since I knew a lot about his work from the 60's, but his work from the 50's was practically unknown to me, and thanks to that I have discovered very interesting music.
But most importantly I have also met many new friends.
cheers
Jose
