Hello Jose,
many thanks for Vol 3 of the early Joe Meek songs. It is how you told. Many 60s songs I know from Joe Meek productions, but the Fifties I get now to know and that is good. One can better understand the development of Joe Meek and his music, when we go to the begin. Thanks for your work with Bob Hill and thanks for your CD offer with different Volumes on your side!!I am very interested for and like this historical selection of 50s Meek music!! Goes this selection of Joe Meek work goes on???
Is it planed from you to make also Joe Meek and his music of 1960 and further years??That would be GREAT.
Many greetings Thomas
Hi Thomas.
If this time is the most unknown and that is why historically I think it is the most interesting, because many of these songs are very difficult to get other than on this site.
Of course, the series will continue until 1967, so we have all this year secured and the beginning of the next.
The 1960s era is well known and easier to do.
cheers
José
Thanks for vol. 3 José. In the past you asked me if I could help you with this 50's project, but I really didn't know how (I'm a 60's man). I don't think I've heard more than a couple of the songs you're offering in this serie and from the previous ones I especially liked the songs with Peggy Seeger. Where on earth did you fine them?
Hi Rob.
Actually this part of the 50's is being a great surprise for many, and at least for me it has been very exciting. Already in the 60s there are many well-known themes.
I have received a lot of help in compiling these songs, which I sincerely appreciate.
cheers
José

I try that all my works sdean of love and enthusiasm. This is exciting.
all the best.

No se, creo que
me Peggy Seeger
es la que mejor
me sonó , las dos
ultimas , tienen un
aire Charleston ,
o eso creo .
Amigo Orlando.
