V.A. Fools On The Hill - Complete Collection Part. 2, Vols. 13 - 25


Pues acabamos esta mega-serie, que me ha sorprendido, pues creía que todo el mundo la tendría, pero por los comentarios y por el numero de descargas veo que no.
Trece volúmenes que como en la primera parte, cada uno de ellos toca un estilo diferente, todos con un derroche de calidad que raramente encontramos en estas megas colecciones, así que nuevamente vuelvo a agradecer a su creador Sylvain FuzzyMental y a "Fuzzywasabi", el blog que lo publicó entre 2008 y 2009.
Realmente estoy muy satisfecho de que este tipo de trabajos, realizados, pienso, con gran ilusión no caigan en el olvido y todos los aficionados a la música podamos disfrutar de ellos.
Otra vez mas podemos comprobar que muchos trabajos particulares superan claramente a algunos de los que las casas discográficas suelen lanzar, muchas veces con el único fin de rentabilizar su trabajo, pero carentes del calor que da un trabajo desinteresado como es el caso de esta colección.
Nada mas, miraros los track-lists y los subtítulos de cada volumen para saber de que van, y repito nuevamente que es una colección que debieran tener todos los amantes de la música, independientemente de los gustos particulares, pues realmente es una auténtica enciclopedia de la música.

Al saco. A ver si de aquí al verano consigo escuchar todo lo que no me suena, que es un buen montón. De todos modos, hay una mezcla muy curiosa entre clásicos totales y nombres completamente desconocidos. Ah, y me ha alegrado ver a Big Jim Sullivan por el medio: es uno de esos personajes que parece que nadie se acuerda de él.

hay que tomárselo con calma, que no se va a pasar de moda.
Respecto al Sullivan, no le había prestado mucha atención, los temas sitareros me dan algo de respeto. Habitual de los "Electric Psychedelic Sitar" y de los "Ragas" de Antoni.
Le daré otra oportunidad.

Hola Jose:
Ya he empezado a escuchar el volumen 13 y en el segundo tema el de Arthur Lee Harper me he quedado atrapado. Tanto me ha gustado que esta tarde he buscado su álbum en youtube y le he dado un repaso completo y me he descargado todos los temas. Todo un descubrimiento, me ha enganchado este tio.
En general este volumen 13 está genial, en una linea muy folk. No quiero ni imaginar todas las sorpresas que me esperan hasta llegar al 25. Tambien me ha gustado ver a Tudor Lodge incluído, sus temas me emocionan siempre.
Mucha faena por delante, amigo Jose. Nos armaremos de paciencia.

El vol. 13, es sin duda uno de los estrella, lo he escuchado hace pocos días y es una delicia, ya buscaré el disco de Arthur Lee Harper y sino te lo pido.
Por cierto, el 24 está dedicado al sitar, así que afila el lapiz y apunta.

A veces también hay errores temporales en esos sitios, pero se arreglan solos en unas horas.
