Pues terminamos esta extensa serie que nos ha regalado el amigo Juan, y que recuerdo, es una serie que empezó hace quince años, cuando la gente hacía sus colecciones en CD-R e iban pasando casi de mano en mano, pues eso de los blogs y las descargas directas, estaban todavía en pañales, aunque lo que si que funcionaba en esos años ya era el E-Mule, todo un pionero en el intercambio de archivos en su creación en 2002 y que todavía sigue activo.

Así, que estos volúmenes, la única forma de conseguirlos en esos años, si no era directamente eran en ese sitio, aunque una búsquedas actuales no muestra esta colección, y en sitios como Soulseek, tampoco están. Por eso, mi interés en darles una segunda vida.

Ante nada destacar la época en las que se realizó, donde no era tan fácil conseguir la música, ni aún siquiera en Lps o Cds, y era muy habitual al menos en nuestro país tener que recurrir a los discos de importación.

La selección, es de lo mas variado en cuanto a estilos, y a diferencia de los otros quince volúmenes publicados, Juan se centra en la música de los sesenta y primeros sesenta, si no me equivoco, y me gustaría destacar el volúmen 18, que con dos cds se dedica a la música española de los setenta, pero además con algunas cosas realmente raras. Juan los extrajo como homenaje a una todavía mas antigua colección en trece volúmenes, titulada "Tesoros de los 70", que por cierto, estamos trabajando para pronto tenerla a vuestra disposición, aunque será en el "Spanish Blogs Dream Team".
